Local Baltimore artist Cheryl Lawson commemorates the life of Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Cheryl Lawson discovered a love of art early in the COVID pandemic. Her collages and original folk drawings are both a modern and traditional exploration of life in the Baltimore African American community. She was featured early in the Patterson Park Podcast, with her son, Aaron Hill, who is a musician.
