Photos from Ground Zero (conclusion: The Birth of US Event Photos)

There were more photos.  A lot more.  I can’t find them.  They are on negatives, somewhere, but these are all I could salvage.  Later, I put all the photos into a presentation called, “The Day Our Heart Stopped.”

But really, that day — that was the day my heart started beating.
